- 12 oz SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS May use milk chocolate chips, melting chocolate, or go half and half on butterscotch chips.
- 12 OZ CHOW MEIN NOODLES May use pretzel sticks, potato sticks, shredded coconut, or even quick oats.
- 1/2 CUP PEANUT BUTTER May use peanut butter chips
- 1 BAG CADBURY OR OTHER CANDY EGGS May use jelly beans or any candy Easter egg
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between.
Add the peanut butter to the melted chocolate and stir until well mixed.
Add chow mein noodles to the chocolate-peanut butter mixture and stir until well coated.
On a parchment-lined cookie sheet, drop rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet to make the nests. Create a little indentation in the center of each nest.
You can also use a muffin tin lined with plastic wrap to create the bird's nest.
Place in the freezer until frozen - about 30 minutes.
Remove from the cookie sheet, add mini eggs to each bird's nest cookie, and enjoy!
