A Scandinavian-inspired Christmas…
A few months ago, when planning our Christmas tree look, I noticed these Scandinavian wooden bead ornaments pop up all over Pinterest. Scandinavian-inspired design always feels Christmassy to me, and I knew these minimalist ornaments would strike the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance.
After some trial and error, I created three easy ornament options. The beads have a primitive look, so I opted for this leather lace instead of string or jute twine to bring some balance. As a bonus, it’s easier to work with that jute too! Add whatever type of ribbon you prefer for the wreath ornament (option #3) or leave it plain.
These affordable ornaments are incredibly versatile. Perfect as a Christmas party craft, a homemade touch in a gift basket, or a fun gift topper. I mean, who doesn’t love handmade ornament?
In this post, I demonstrate three straightforward Christmas tree ornament options, but there are so many variations you can create with these beads. Don’t be afraid to get creative and develop your own designs!
